Kili had tripped twice, but he had been helped by his godmother. Thanking her breathlessly, the youngest kept along with the rest of them. 
Despite his size, Bombur surpassed them all. 
"Hurry!" Thorin urged them along, and once they reached the shack of a house, they burst inside with only seconds to spare. 

As quickly as he could, Kili moved to push the door shut. The monstrous bear attempted to push his way inside, and there were panicked yells from the company until they overcame Beorn's strength and won. With the door now shut, everyone sighed in relief. 

"What was that?!" Kili had never known such a creature to exist. Beorn larger than any bear. Immediately, he searched Saeril's face, as he was trying to ensure she hadn't hurt her leg anymore. When it came to injuries, Kili could be a bit paranoid when it involved someone he cared about.
