Pholus snickers a bit at the thought of the people in the town making a sort of extravagant invention that can surpass his master's or his own inventions. He does give Feon a friendly smile when saying the beginning of his little conversation, hoping to comfort her in some way. The inventor was getting more and more interested in the woman, which was quite apparent on his face...though not really in the romantic way. More so on what makes her "tick" and such.
