Holding a degree in not only education, but also law, and a skilled and much loved bartender and boss at Mia and Pia's Pizzeria and Brewhouse; Zoé is an exceedingly spirited woman who always throws herself into her work with not only a fierce determination, but also an unbridled fiery passion that seems to be unmatched by any other in Klamath Falls. Extremely resourceful, and able to think not only on the go, but also able to think “outside of the box”; the especially handy woman is seen by all those who know her as a force to be reckoned with- her keen, sharp and driven mind helping greatly when it comes to not only her work in at the pizzeria and brewery, but also when having to take charge and lay down the law as true alpha of her pack.

Though most times seen as extremely loud, however always dependable when it come to handling a job or obstacle presented to her; the both knowledgeable and rather tough woman is not only very quick of wit, but is also high tempered- never once allowing those who believe themselves to be better than her to walk all over, and or try to control her in any way, shape or form. With her major stubbornness, and her fierce sense of determination when it comes to getting things done; Zoé is extremely strong-willed, rarely ever changing her stance on something once she has set her mind to it, causing many to waste not only their time, but also their breath when trying to convince her otherwise- the woman quick to call others out on their behavior and actions; her own emotions (when running high) at times causing her to be both foolish and irrational, leading her into situations that she will rarely ever think about first.

[b]Accelerated Healing:[/b] Zoé heals quickly from most injuries and scars; and thanks to the initial bite, Zoé has also been cures of all and any chronic illnesses like asthma, epilepsy or even cancer (both known and unknown), and now has an immunity to any disease.
[b]Enhanced Agility:[/b] Zoé can jump and climb at amazing speeds, leaping great distances of about thirty feet from the ground; she is also much faster than not only humans, but also some other supernatural creatures, able to run up to seventy mph- Zoé is also shown to have faster reflexes, allowing her to catch fast moving objects in mid-air, such as arrows or even lacrosse balls; her reflexes are fifteen times faster than that of a normal human.

An extremely kind and gentle old soul to all those that she has the pleasure of meeting, Seraphina is an exceedingly sweet and charming young woman, showering all those who are lucky enough to form a close relationship to her with the love and care that she believes them to deserve, no matter who might think otherwise. Her recently found confidence and self-belief growing significantly over the years, despite her isolation from the rest of the world, helping her to see the friends that she had managed to make over the years as figures that were approachable, offering them both council and comfort whenever any of them seemed to need it; while spending her nights stepping up to the roles left unfilled by mothering and caring for her younger sister, Lailah.

Usually seen to be quite warm-hearted and a very modest young woman, she does her best to carry herself with both grace and dignity through the hardship that has been thrown her way by all of those who look down upon the angels as nothing more than objects to be hunted; though as the years passed her by, Seraphina soon learnt and began to stand up for herself against those who continued to look down upon her and her kind. ☠ Slowed Down- while she is able to reach incredible speeds when soaring freely through the skies; Seraphina's wings are extremely large, the tips of which tending to drag lightly over the ground behind her, and causing her movements to become slightly slower than that of a normal person when she has them showing, even when she seems to be rushing about.
☠ Exceptional Beauty- thanks to her heritage, Seraphina is exceptionally beautiful to many of those who look upon her; and naturally, though oftentimes unintentionally, draws in and gains the attention of those who hold both well, or ill intent towards her- while she has always been told she is pretty, Seraphina doesn't realize the extent of which her attraction extends, and tends to become rather shy and humble towards those who try to compliment, or explain this to her.
☠ Aura of Light/ Smell- unbeknownst to her and thanks in large part to her angel blood; Seraphina gives off a particular scent (cocoa butter and honey), as well as a soft and almost undetectable aura of light which are both able to be detected by other supernatural creatures, and hunters- the young woman herself not aware of either of these traits.
☠ Physical Weakness- born an angel, Seraphina is well known to be physically weaker than those who are born of other races; her weakness not helping her any when it comes to the fact that her kind are hunted more than any other.

[b]Brief Biography:[/b]
Born as the first child to her parents, Seraphina was quickly pulled into, and raised with respect for the traditions surrounding not only the human world, but also the angel part of her heritage; the young girl both loved and cherished within her families home. Soon growing into a beautiful young teenager, and now blessed with a beautiful younger sister; Seraphina quickly came to the realization that she didn't want to rely or be a burden on her parents, she tried her best, taking on more of the responsibilities at home, doing all that she could to excel in the lessons of which they had to teach her- the young woman quickly showing not only extreme skill, but also natural talent when it came to animal care and maintenance, both natural and supernatural. Never having an issue opening up to those few who had accepted her for who she truly was, she began to become the confident young lady that her mother and father always meant for her to be; however her fathers long-term fear of the threat of other supernaturals and hunters against their people was never far from their minds.

Knowing full well that the they were closing in on him and his family, Seraphina's father gathered up both of his daughters and tried to flee Oxfordshire with his family, hoping beyond anything to at least hide long enough in the bustling city of London until the time came when the threat was subdued; however, unable to get away from the towns boarder quickly enough, the group of supernatural beings attacked, and in their attempt to stop their daughters from being taken, Seraphina and her younger sister Lailah watched on in horror as their parents were struck down in front of their eyes. Not wanting their sacrifice to be in vein, and forced to leave the corpses of their parents back in their homeland; Seraphina quickly gathered her little sister up in her arms and took to the skies, doing everything she possibly could to get them as far away as she could from the danger.

Refusing to be separated from her twelve year old little sister after everything that they had just been through, Seraphina took on several jobs, gathering the money that the both of them needed to move away from the UK and across the sea to the USA where she then took the place of her mother, and began to after and raise Lailah in the way that their parents raised her. Five years later, and now comfortably living in Klamath Falls, Seraphina does all that she can to deal with the obstacles that life seems intent on throwing her way; the young woman determined to do all that she can to make sure that her sister's life never has to see anymore heartache and pain than it already has.

[b]Other:[/b] Though she may seem confident and semi-competent when it comes to things she sets her mind to, Seraphina has a fear of swimming and is terrified at the very thought of deep water as getting her wings wet can turn into a life-threatening situation; along with this fear she is also deathly scared of the dark, being left alone, and losing everyone she cares about.

Believing deep down in her heart that no one will be able to look past the fact that she is angel, and see her as anything more than a trophy or animal to be hunted down; Seraphina has all but given up on the thought of finding love and being truly happy.

On the rare occasion when she is seen to be happy and content with what's going on within her life, Seraphina can be seen to float lightly just a few inches above the ground as she moves about- particularly when she is seen to be dancing, or when she is expressing herself in a positive way.

Known to all those around her to be an exceedingly sweet and charming young lady; Syleste is an extremely graceful and very loving, kind-hearted girl who cares deeply for all those of whom she not only believes herself to be close to, but also those she holds dear to her within her heart; the dreamy-eyed girl showing her love and affection to all those close to her. Overly curious and full of life she tends to find herself, more often than not, walking into some sort of danger or trouble; whether it be something as minor as receiving a slight paper cut on her finger, or something that's of far more serious consequence such as following her curiosity and accidentally falling off the bank and into the lake- the bubbly teenager never showing any signs that she's willing to let her disability get in the way of her living the life she wants to. Though coming off sometimes as shy at first when a situation seems to overwhelm her (large crowds of people surrounding her, loads of information being given to her at one time, ect.), once she has had time to adjust, Syleste seems to have no issues putting herself out there for others to see; the young girl never truly having a problem whenever it comes to being an open book, or making friends.

Although a kind and graceful soul, Syleste is also known for being stubborn when it comes to something that she truly believes in, choosing to stand up for it rather than backing down once she has already made up her mind, usually making it near impossible to convince her otherwise. Quite mature and oddly grown-up for her age thanks to living her whole life with her disability, Syleste often does all she can not to be, or to be considered a "burden" to all those who are around her, the young woman doing everything she can and more to help out (cleaning, cooking, ect.), even sometimes choosing to put her own needs aside in favor of others, no matter how difficult the task may seem for her; the girl trying her best at everything and anything that she seems to set her mind to.

Coming across at times as being quietly confident and extremely calm, she sometimes tends to pull away from the company of others becoming very reserved and thoughtful, choosing instead to lose herself within her own mind and in her own little world. Unnaturally bright and unique in her own way, Syleste has the aptitude for thinking outside of the box on general occasion, always coming up with strange ideas that would normally otherwise be considered near impossible to pull off, though with the young woman's odd way of using her intelligence she is known for being able to twist them to the point of making it all work out.

At birth, the portion of the brain that deal with vision, hearing, and all other senses are connected. As a sighted child continues to grow up, these connections begin to separate themselves from one another, until eventually independent centers in the brain control each of the different senses that a person can use. In a blind infant however, these connections might remain intact, and the job of processing sound might be shared by both the visual cortex, as well as the auditory processing centers. If a person loses his/ her sight during childhood or adulthood, the connections might have already been separated because myelin (the fatty sheath surrounding affected nerves) develops rapidly in the very young.

Research into blindness has found that while regions in the brain that deal with vision are smaller in blind individuals than in that of those who still have their sight, other non-visual areas are increasingly larger. Looking into the brain's potential to adapt after blindness, researchers have found that blindness causes structural changes in the brain, indicating that the brain may reorganize itself functionally in order to adapt to a loss in sensory input; the area's in the brain dealing with memory, hearing, and other senses becoming enlarged in an attempt to compensate for the fact that the person can no longer see.

A blind person can become quite adept at using echolocation (identifying an object by the sound or echo that it makes) while moving through the world around him/ her. Children or babies that are born blind use extra hand movements as they crawl, slapping the floor around them to create a kind of auditory and sensory feedback. The use of reflected sound by blind children helps them to explore and manipulate aspects of the sound world, other visually impaired individuals may make clicking noises to note the changes in sound as the distance between them and different obstacles shift; this can also be seen in animals such as dolphins and bats.

[u][b]Using Touch To Explore The World[/b][/u]
The largest area of the brain's surface is devoted to the hand and the sense of touch, the skin being the largest organ of the body allows us to use this sense to the fullest, and the blind child is a "sensation" of information. Many blind individuals can feel changes in temperature as they near a window, wall, and other objects, relying on their enhanced sense of touch to help them explore the world around them.

Before the invention of non-invasive neuro-imaging, people could only speculate and look on in awe at the increased abilities that those who were blind seemed to posses. The well-known painter, Pablo Picasso explored the nature of blindness during his "Blue Period", some claiming that he was able to find an intensity of other senses in his depiction of the blind. Researchers state that what you lose in one place, you gain elsewhere, reinforcing the idea that other senses are not only affected but also enhanced by blindness.
