"How many?" Cecilia repeated, not expecting a follow up question like this. "Um, I'm not sure... At least four(?) no [i]six[/i] legs," she said, remembering how they all have four legs near their front section. She noted how quiet James was being. Without looking at him directly, she couldn't be sure if he was even playing. Maybe she should have said it was something big and red all over and just move on. The heat still dissipating from her cheeks, she considered that maybe he might still be thinking of earlier. Did she overreact to what Spirit said? How was she supposed to react? She got embarrassed by just touching James' hand before, and she's only known him for a few hours. Besides, even after everything that happened, could she really say what the future would hold for any of them. Cecilia cautiously looked in James' direction. Maybe she wasn't ready to see him again after all.
