Same, to an extent. I prefer to speak with people rather than write, mostly because I think I can get my points across a lot better in discussion than over text. I don't associate with too many people in person though, so this usually involves things like Skype and such. Not so much because I'm shy (I'm really not -- like I said, if anything I'm too blunt for my own good) or have problems talking with people directly, but just because I tend to be something of a loner... sort of.

The button is helpful indeed. Also, if you're wondering about BBCode, there's a 'cheatsheet' at the bottom of the page, but it doesn't have everything and my friend [@tsukune] made a much better thread containing all of that information.
