[b]Witch. Her powers reside in the mind. When concentrating, she can catch glimpses of other people's thoughts. It's less a direct transcript and more of a feeling. She has an easier time picking up on people's emotions rather than actual thoughts. It causes her less strain. She can also manipulate people's emotions and influence their decisions, though this is a fairly new skill and one she has yet to master. Though her main abilities are defensive, she can also create illusions(for example, she could make it seem like she has control over flames, though in reality it's just an image she summoned). They don't actually physically cause harm, though she can warp the object of her 'attack' to feel as though it had.[/b]
Subject preference in order from most to least: 
[b]She has a preference for literature and English, and dabbles in artsy subjects as well. She's never really been great at math and science.[/b]
History: 
[b]Her mother was a former student and when she realized that her daughter had inherited her gifts, she enrolled Arcadia in the academy. Nothing too extremely tragic, though her father did pass away when she was young. No matter how much she asks her mother, she has yet to learn much information about him. She and her mother have a talk-when-necessary relationship. Not strained, but not exactly close. She doesn't feel too extremely one way or the other about coming to the school. She is very mild person in general. Back home, she had a few companions she'd talk to on occasion, though most of her developmental years have been spent at the academy. She's accepted her life for what it is, basically. Could be better, could be worse.[/b]
