And outside of America, I'm pretty sure Electives aren't a thing. Or at least I've never heard of them.
The concept is this: Extra stuff you're not required to take but have the option to. It assumes your classes aren't planned out and that everything isn't required; the things that aren't required can be switched around with whatever you'd like. Those would be electives.

Name: Arcadia M Age: 18 Gender: Female Species: Witch. Her powers reside in the mind. When concentrating, she can catch glimpses of other people's thoughts. It's less a direct transcript and more of a feeling. She has an easier time picking up on people's emotions rather than actual thoughts. It causes her less strain. She can also manipulate people's emotions and influence their decisions, though this is a fairly new skill and one she has yet to master. Though her main abilities are defensive, she can also create illusions(for example, she could make it seem like she has control over flames, though in reality it's just an image she summoned). They don't actually physically cause harm, though she can warp the object of her 'attack' to feel as though it had. Subject preference in order from most to least: She has a preference for literature and English, and dabbles in artsy subjects as well. She's never really been great at math and science. History: Her mother was a former student and when she realized that her daughter had inherited her gifts, she enrolled Arcadia in the academy. Nothing too extremely tragic, though her father did pass away when she was young. No matter how much she asks her mother, she has yet to learn much information about him. Are you in need of our summer program?: No. Preferred elective courses: She likes classic literature, and would probably enjoy a class about Shakespeare. Anything extra pertinent to your attendance here?:
(( I literally just joined this website and don't REALLY know what I'm doing right. If I posted this in the wrong place or filled something out wrong, just tell me and I'll gladly fix it. Thanks! ))
You've made a good start. A thread in the intro forum or a PM to one of us for any extra questions you might have could help you, but for the way the site works, you did it perfectly.
