Jason and Harley
Day 5 8:30pm
collaboration with [@spinosaurus]
Jason walked into the cafeteria and sat down. He hadn't shown off his powers too much, as he was waiting for a threat to appear. As morbid as it sounds, he couldn't wait to show use his abilities on another living being. He could annihalate any enemies. Like a bullet. He began eating his food. Harley looked over at Jason and kinda elbowed him in the arm. "Hey Spidey, how are you doing with your new power? You still going ant sized? Can you go giant too?" She grinned at him wondering where he had been practicing all day. "Yeah." he said, looking at her, "Although I can't be giant, Octavia, I'm like, really agile." Harley smiled at him laughingly, "I don't look that much like her. Do I? Maybe I should stick you in my pocket and let you ride the waves with me tomorrow. I think you'd get a kick out of it." "Haha, it depends, does it involve killing mutant animals?" he jokingly asked, "And yeah, you two are a splitting image. I've been watching reruns of that and The Land of the Lost for the past year." Harley looked at his plate as he ate the roast pork and smiled. "Do you like the roasted pork? The reason I ask is because I caught it in a wall of water. So, yeah we'll be hunting and watering things." She grinned. "Sounds great. And yeah, it's awesome. Can I be a hunter of sorts?" he asked. "I don't see why not. You might be a great sneak attack too. We can figure it out I'm sure of it." Harley watched him and smiled. It was nice having someone she had known for a little while around. She hadn't gotten too close but she had made a few friends in the bunker. She was happy now to realize that they might actually have a future in this world and that meant real relationships. Friends that might last a while were a prized possession at this point. "I'm sure I will," he said optimistically. This world was dangerous. Realistically, they would only last a few weeks. Some of them might die painfully, others quickly.. it was the hard truth. Jason had always admired superheroes. Now, having the abilities of one, he felt happy. Now was not the time for pessimism. Optimism is the one thing that saves everyone. He kept a smile. "So, what are we going to do after dinner? I could go out and hunt.. we need a plan of sorts, this is survival of the fittest." "No, we are in for the night the doors are closing in 15 minutes. I'm not going out there after dark until I feel safe and that is not likely to happen for a long time if ever. We'll go out tomorrow." Harley said. "I guess that makes sense.." Jason said.
[@King Tai][@Wick][@Aeternum][@RumikoOhara][@Kyrisse][@Spinosaurus][@December][@Venku][@alexfangtalon][@POOHEAD189][@FunnyGuy]
