I need to go, so I'll do a quick overview on why this helps. If I return here and I put my hand into mine and we both press the button and they don't match, one of two things happened. Either the machine I use isn't the original or the one who sticks his hand into here isn't me. Be careful of either scenario. This will prove that I am who I say I am when we make contact in the future and that nobody has tampered with either machine.
