Backstory: Trei is part of a noble family in the empire of Theolagius, a diplomat for the immortal emperor Thol.  Trei is the grandson of the royal adviser and friend of the emperor, Aster Fulthoth, an old man on his death bed, soon to die of a disease unknown to the world.  In the place of Aster Trei has been sent to the masquerade ball as a royal diplomat, maybe there he may find a wife to continue his family line 😘.
