My character will hate them all back! Disdain is everything.

Like, he doesn't hate forests themselves: he hates the idea that they deserve to be glorified or protected as anything more than a moderately useful resource. He can't see anything more than a collection of trees and sticks and animals just trying to survive, making them no more innocent or pure than any sentient being doing the same. There is nothing special there. He wouldn't be the sort to ever have a pet :lol
