What was she going to say? How would she react? Did Ash have to prepare to fight? Many a paranoid thought began to creep in with the doubt that grew in her mind with every passing second that Indigo stayed silent. Of course Ash was unaware that the sorceress was simply choosing her words carefully. Not that if she did know would she understand such a thought process anyway. However that was when she noticed the older woman smile slightly. Ash might've questioned it if Indigo didn't start speaking soon after, so Ash instead seemed to be listening intently to every word which came out of the General's mouth. Much like a child waiting eagerly during christmas in fact. At first Ash was confused by what Indigo started saying. She wasn't a soldier? Well Ash reasoned that she didn't look the part, but it still came as a bit of a shock since she was an intergral part of Frenzy Plant. Ash had assumed that she would naturally be a soldier then....huh. Talk about 'assumptions make an ass out of you and me' huh? Though not quite as shocking as the realisation of what Indigo said next. Ash hadn't really thought too much about such a thing. She had assumed that since they were a light guild, it meant they were above killing people. But she hadn't even remotely thought about the fact they were also a guild of soldiers. As Indigo said soldiers killed during times of war. Not too dissimilar to that of Ash's own time at Shadow Heart except for one glaring reason. As Indigo soon stated. Ideals. Indigo fought to upheld justice, freedom, her guild and perhaps even her own self-preservation in a kill or be killed environment which was the battlefield. Ash had killed for hatred, monetary gain, to simply cause pain and grief. To gain power even. She wasn't sure who would've killed more people, her or Indigo, however perhaps a more accurate comparison might be that of how many innocent people they had killed or purposely hurt for their own selfish reasons. Ash had burnt people alive in their homes with their families for simple entertainment once or twice. To take out the pain and grief she felt on the rest of the world, lashing out like an immature brat having a tantrum. If it hadn't been for him...she might still have been immersed in the darkness. Drowning in it with no way to escape. At the end of Indigo's little spiel Ash straightened up with her fists clenched tightly by her sides. Her trembling was gone now, instead her crimson eyes burned with determination. "Turned my back? I wouldn't say that. That's not my style." Ash bought her right fist up slightly as she spoke. A small smirk begining to form as Indigo's words filled refilled her confidence. "No. I am going to take the darkness head on. My flames will be the light to vanquish the darkness which those scumbags shroud themselves in and reveal them for who they truly are. Turning my back would simply give them an opportunity to stab me when I'm not looking...which I'm sure they'll gladly take."
Jasmine Lockwood

[@Raijinslayer] Jasmine took a moment to realize whatever the hell it was she had just witnessed. One moment she and Jacqueline were walking down the alleyway talking then the next moment Jasmine could feel the coldness of a steel blade being pressed against her throat. Not only that but Jacqueline absolutely, positively and quite sickeningly bashed the crap out of one of their unknown assailants. There wasn't much she could do but blink in disbelief. Too shocked to even care or notice the blade being pressed up against her throat. It was only when Jacqueline spoke to her that she snapped back to reality. Wait. What? Kill them? What was he-sorry, she going on about? "I-I'm sure we can settle our differences...right? L-let's all just calm down ok?" Jasmine's eyes darted from the blade, to Jacqueline, to her assailant before returning back to the blade as she spoke. She was panicking so badly right now that her only possible reaction was to be calm. Well as calm as she could be. It was such a strange feeling indeed. "T-there's no need for anyone to die right?"
Cody Bloodstein

[@Cherrywitch][@Zarkun] Cody wasn't too sure what to think of this situation right now. He was too conflicted with whatever these emotions which were running through him right now to focus too much on the scenario unfolding before him right now. All he knew was that James was apparently at the stadium and had gone looking for him to do a training session? Well Cody could do with something to take his mind off matters since the games weren't on anymore. He didn't plan on going to the ball anyway.... The woman was bloody convincing. The smile which she gave him felt very genuine and heart-warming, but James steadying presence and words kept Cody from falling into the trap. Barely. "I-I told you already. I'm not in pain!" Despite what Cody said now he was still clutching his shirt around his heart. Almost as if in pain. "And I don't need yours or anyones help in curing something which doesn't exist."
Angela Terra

[@Oblivion666] A wide grin spread across her face as Indigo started walking. It seemed like she found it to a bucketload of fun to dangle from his neck. Either that or the idea of cookies was quite an enjoyable one for her. Probably both knowing the young witch. Like Indigo she ignored the looks they were given as she nodded excitedly. "Finding the guards should be easy enough...surely there's one nearby?" Angela asked in her usual innoncent but still mischievous tone. "Of course I can hit their butts! I've been practising my shots over long distances!" The girl beamed proudly as she nodded her approval of Indigo's plan. She didn't specify however if she had been training to hit butts over a long distance or simply shooting pumpkins over a long distance. Both were the same to her anyway.
