As far as turbo duels go though, assuming the other players want them to be a thing, I wanted them to be closer to the 5Ds turbo duels, where duelists required a separate deck with Speed Spells in it, and only speed spells would be played. Of course, the issue with this would be Pendulum monsters, which can be set as spell cards. Without the scales, pendulums kinda fall apart, so I'm thinking just making pendulum scales the exception to the turbo dueling rule. Alternatively, we could use Arc-V's turbo dueling, where players pick up action cards scattered throughout the race track a la Mario Kart, Speed Spells be damned. Hell, I might implement both of these systems. Also, let's not talk about Zexal turbo duels.
