While Ariel could not completely disagree with Marcaille's reasoning, she didn't appear any less nervous. She gave Rukeewei a glance before moving to a seat. The travel fatigue coupled with the pressure to perform made even her progress to the table appear stilted. Sabine took a seat next to Ariel with the same smile she had been wearing the entire time. "The thought had crossed my mind to cure lycanthropy as a way of making someone immune to the gas," Ariel said as she lowered herself into her seat. She made a conscious effort to try not to knock over any of the glassware in front of her. "But, considering that I had a hard enough time finding a cure for Sabine years ago, before all of this, and only came up with the suppression gas, I would be none-too-optimistic about that approach."
