[@Gunther] CAn always trust you to do military well. The only thing is, Palpatine didn't reveal himself to be a Sith Lord. He formed the Empire and declared himself Galactic Emperor. Bail would have known with his Jedi Connection but it's whether or not he would have told anyone.
