"I shouldn't be here," Shadra whispered, looking around herself, shocked by the surroundings. "I shouldn't be here. Rebecca, I.." Shadra looked down at the little girl, she wasn't moving. Her little arm was coated in erratic markings, that matched the patterns of her veins and ran all the way up to her neck. She whimpered, but didn't scream. When Shadra let go of her, the darkness in her arm disappeared, but Rebecca fell forwards, and didn't move. Shadra backed away from the little girl, bumping into another man that stood near by. The jutted forward and stood up on two legs. The people turned, one after another, to see Rebecca's little body laying motionless, and Alvios standing nearby with Shadra. She wasn't breathing.
