But [b]no[/b], the two aren't identical. He has been changed to fit the RP as I used to have him in a previous RP. He is also based of an Evangelion fanfiction named "Nobody Dies" (its pretty good), in which Zeruel in that fanfic is a god damn badass who is also based off the Reapers Harbinger and Sovereign from the Mass Effect series.

Damn it, you had to mention Nobody Dies. I miss that fic...well, before that ass pull 'The last 25 chapters were all a dream!' bit. Everything in the dream and before it were a fun roller coaster ride.
