As impressed as Ariel was, the sight of a multi-legged, spiked, shuddering metal insect scuttling towards her was perturbing to say the least. She kept her hands firmly on her legs while seated and leaned away from the Dwemer spider with a tight smile. "That is generous of you, but I think I can manage." Ariel's eyes turned up to Brenann. "I fear my husband would attack it on sight with a chair," she said, visualising herself attacking the spider with a chair. Sabine was not quite as apprehensive. She leaned and reached to touch the spider's metallic chassis with her finger. A harder nudge caused the spider to extend only one of its legs further out to remain standing still. "How smart is he?" Sabine asked.
