Vakim was several lengths ahead of everyone else, And a good thing too. His pace was very slow compared to the others, Being injured and on foot. As the others caught up, he asked for some assistance to speed up the trek home, Amaria stopped and put his arm around her shoulders to help him along. It quickened the pace three fold. He was very grateful to her, However he had never seen her before. They strike up a conversation and talk all the way to the house. He told everyone which direction to head but advised them not to get out of his sight. Vakim had rigged the woods around his house with traps of all types and got very good at concealing them, no one would be able to tell if one was right at their feet. He was afraid that his new found company would get their legs mutilated after they went through all that together.

	Just before they reached the house his wound where his nose had been had finally almost stopped bleeding. "Let yourselves in, and be sure to stoke the flames and put on some dry wood." Vakim said as he headed off the path to his favorite tree. He had been thinking the whole way up, covering his face, that the rest of the group would be scared away if they saw him now. So he decided to make a mask, To cover what had happened, and thats where he was headed now. Once he stood at the base of the large tree he looked up into its branches and muttered something about how he would return the favor in years to come, and with that, He cut out a piece of its strong bark in the shape of his face and walked back to the house. Once he returned he entered through the back door so that no one would see his face then quickly got to work on his project, He fingers were nimble and quick at carving so the work didnt take long. He grabs his extra pair of adventuring armor (Which included more "armor" from the tree from which he took the mask) and walked into the common room and tried to get along with everyone as best he could with his new face.
