It will  end, when I made this encounter I gave a set number of hits you guys have to land to make them faint. 
of course when I did I counted the number of bites and scratches.lers affecting the number by slowly lowering it and growls raising the number slowly..... So improvised attacks were a bit of a surprise to me, but decided to count them as half a hit.

So there is a end.... well Thore could just run off and challenge another pokemon...
