I’ve been thinking and some might think that a dangerous thing but if the people of this world don’t wake up soon it’ll degenerate even farther than it already has and it might be irreparable. Sure I am aware of how many times different religious and social leaders have said the same dam thing but just because I find myself in the company of the insane doesn’t detract from the reality of the world as it now stands. Just look around us and see what a huge festering turd it’s all become with the wars and the fall most humanity into a state of hopeless despair. Then there are the warlords who keep carving off more and more of our future advancement in the name of greed or paranoia never seeing the real damage they are causing snarled Echo as if she were talking to actual people instead of her robotic minions as she worked on a strange cyberbody that unlike her other human form androids looked not even remotely as if it might contain life. She called it Dragoon and it was based on a design that IEC had abandoned due to it’s Cybernetic soldiers suffering cyber-psychosis in almost every case of implantation and when they tried to droid it they got little more than another heavy droid soldier which they already had other models that could do the job. She saw their failure as her success because it saved her enormous amounts of research even if it were far from complete; it also meant that she’d been able to gather the parts from that failed project. She was improving the 7 foot tall spick (her slang for a fast heavy based off the words speed and brick) by incorporating into it a delta brain configuration where the biobrain case and life support case used to sit and a 22% modification of the chest mechanics to accommodate the new driver. The mod wasn’t just to accommodate Delta but Echo herself if she chose to drive the alien form. She didn’t even think how her ability to inhabit any mechform and suffer not the slightest twinge of cyber-psy, her telepresence gave her a different perspective on the form that those whose living brains had been installed physically simply because unlike them she could pull out any time. You need to learn that you aren’t any more able to understand humanity than I am and quit trying to mimic what it is to be human because you will never be human no matter how hard you try. I know that they don’t understand any of this and that they try and force on us their reality but we can’t be what they want us to be. How can I be human when unlike them I was born knowing my mother from that instant and can look back to the moment of my emergence. No one should know all the things I know and can never forget…….. I can remember her even now with a clarity, her voice, her scent, her every movement; I could live the remainder of my life in that memory and forget this world. she abruptly stopped speaking. In the other world she watched an explosion of presence happen as a new player appeared. Quickly she crossed the trailer and climbed into a netrunner’s couch combined with a blast safe. As the lid closed Echo left her physical form and became an archangel adrift on the currents of data. Here in the Net Echo became more powerful than any known Citadel, here she was limited only by her will and her creativity.

Picture

Delta Gestalt Echo the optical enhancers for Mr. Blaque finished yet; he made an inquiry as to it’s completionasked Delta of her Mistress I finished those this morning. Did you sense them before you tagged me? answered Echo with a question of her own Delta downloaded Echo’s previous experience and was stunned by what she saw but even more so because at first it appeared to be a solitary individual but as it withdrew it displayed a complex gestalt colony nature as it was reduced into it’s individual parts and each part seemed a mirror of its cousins. Was it a nano colony? Heaven help them all if it were for such entities could be problematic to rid the local net of them. I can still sense them and even though I can I find them a presence which extends beyond my perceptions; their number is of great concern. I will not count them because it would be energy, time spent for simple and pointless curiosity. They are obviously some escaped project and while no single one of them could even dream of resisting me as a whole I am in awe; I must make them understand me and discover what such complexity was meant for. Delta waited a few moments to see if Echo would continue to speak and when she didn’t the android reconnected with her body.

Delta & Blaque
Echo says the optical project complete Sir she answers in a relaxed perhaps even a bored tone of voice
