Yup it would have been likely since Ms. Diane is a widely known "love guru" and have held other classes pertaining to other things. 
The class she is starting in the story however, is her first class. You can have it so that her friend recommended Ms. Diane rather than the class. Sorry for not clarifying earlier ^ ^
