So, recently in a status update I mentioned this thing, which happened with a group of acquaintances in a Costa.

Some Chick: "So, where are you from originally?"
Me: "Oh, I lived in Toronto when I was younger, but I've lived here for so long I might as well be a local." (Note, Toronto = Canada, 'Here' = England.)
Her: "Ooh, Toronto... That's pretty foreign right?"

So, I want to know, anyone else had some similar bizarre comment like this made to them?
