I'm at an impasse. Should I wait for [@Flamelord] to post, or should I go ahead and cross the bridge?

Is it against the rules to reinforce the bridge as long as you cross it? Like if a large vine was under the bridge holding it up while one walked across it, would it be fine to cross? I have a plan in order about how I'm getting through this castle, and this is one of the questions I need to ask.
