Weapons and armour are mostly gone, yes. Magic is widely regarded as Witchcraft ([s]got to add that into the background info[/s] added), so I personally would advise against using it publicly. It can still be be a Notable skill to have! Nothing like slinging fireballs though, for obvious reasons.
