This is the section where i will post any pertinent learned or requested lore and background information on certain characters, events, etc.

[u][b]IMS Warspite[/b][/u]-

The Warspite is the strike cruiser of the Marine's errant Fifth company. A venerable vessel that has seen nearly two thousand years of service in the name of the Emperor. The vessels Machine spirit is proud and battlehungry at times, And seemingly answers commands during combat just a little bit faster than it would otherwise. As if the very ship itself relishes in the act of void combat and trading blows with an enemy. As machine spirits of this ancient scale are all but an enigma even to the cult mechanicus it could very well be true that the very soul of the vessel yearns to test itself in the fires of war again and again.

[u][b]Captain Darius[/b][/u] - [hider]The veteran commander of the fifth company. Darius has served for over four hundred years in the name of the Emperor and fought in nearly as many battles. He is a veteran commander of the highest caliber and a staunch paragon of what it means to be a space marine. 

As a veteran of an astartes praeses chapter Darius knows better than even some space marines the structures, organiziations and operating factions of chaos and chaos space marines. A glimpse of their inner workings and a collection of known tactics previously utilized by their fallen brotheren over the millenia. He has a reputation for valour and a streak of compassion for the common man not always shared by his fellow astartes. Where most soldiers, astartes and guard alike have long hardened themselves to the idea of civilian casualties being an inevitability in this conflict. Darius considers the protection of civilian life to be a priority and will only make moves to sacrifice or abandon them in the direst of circumstances. 

Darius hopes to reverse the momentum of the arch-enemy on Onara and use it against them somehow along with their inherent lack of discipline and cohesion. Knowing that one company of space marines is probably not enough to completely counter any chaos space marine presence directly. [/hider]

[u][b]Chaplain Bryant[/b][/u]-[hider] Company Chaplain Bryant is what many expect from a chaplain. Grim, somber, and prone to bouts of melancholy as he is constantly observing the rites and memories of those brothers long since departed. No brother of the company is quite sure how old the chaplain is. Perhaps only Captain Darius himself truly knows and none are willing to break invade his privacy and ask. But it is suspected he is young. Young for a chaplain anyway by the sound of his voice and the spry movement of his limbs. 

Regardless none think any less of him or doubt his courage and skill. His battlefield sermons have stirred many a pair of astartes hearts and lent strength and his words of wisdom are no less sought by his captain and his brothers. [/hider]
