Summary: So, here’s the brief version of what went on that’ll detail what your character would need to know. June 20th, there was a town meeting in Altsoba, the predicted center of the Apocalypse. It was jointly run by the Sheriff and the Reverend. At the meeting, the Reverend’s daughter, possessed by a demon, murdered him and attempted to kill several other people. Other similar events have been occurring, with the body count slowly mounting in the town. 

The next day, things took a darker turn. Anyone who attempted to leave town was found dead shortly after, their bodies in the woods. The police have pretty much all been killed, and the refugee shelter at the High School is hardly holding together. Mostly kids are there. The real concern was that the dead started to rise, aiming to kill living people with a disturbing single mindedness. Unlike zombies, however, they retained intelligence. Thankfully, all of the risen dead have been destroyed, but not without great cost. 

Several buildings across town have been burned down as well, and at the prison, everyone was killed by a serial killer. There is a large group currently taking shelter at the Church, another group is near one of the burning buildings, and another group is at Crypt manor.

Common Knowledge:
You can read that in the lore tab in the OOC, for what’s true in this universe. However, no ordinary person has extensive knowledge of the supernatural. Only hunters will be well versed in the lore, or other supernatural creatures. 

Town Leadership:
There’s no official position on refugees, mostly because there isn’t really any leadership. Everyone is fending for themselves at the moment.
