Name: Hunter Monroe Sex: Male Age: 31 (Roughly?) Gender: Male Appearance:

Personality: Hunter is the kind of person who is afraid of what seems like everything. Overall he is a caring person and if he was given the chance to help, he would. But if he was forced into a situation where he had to choose between himself and someone else he would choose himself out of fear of the consequences. If he were to be with people he could trust he would attempt to prove his usefulness any way he can, until it starts conflicting with his fear. Overall he would attempt to use his smarts to survive instead of regular combat. In a non life or death situation he would be there for those closest to him in any way he could. Short Bio: Hunter doesn't remember a lot of his childhood, what he does remember is a man named Dave who took him in as a young teenager and started to teach Hunter everything he knew about survival. To this day Hunter never knew why Dave decided to help him, especially after hearing about the things Dave has done to survive at different points. Dave would teach him to fight with his hands (A skill he still is not good at really), how to filter water, how electricity works, and how to make futile dirt to grow food. And when bullets were still a thing for Dave, how to shoot. When Hunter was what he believes to be about nineteen, Dave got sick when a looter broke into their hideout and attempted to kill him. The wound he sustained didn't kill him instantly, but the infection in it would. And due to his age, lack of medicine, and Dave just being too weak to even walk, Hunter was soon left alone. Using what Dave had left behind Hunter has been able to survive for a while on his own. But as a result of Dave's death, Hunter understood just how easy it was to die, so he stopped trusting people. Leading himself to a world of isolation. The recent events did not leave him totally alone, he started making tabs of the people he knew were in the area, cannibalizes, loners, survivors, etc. Though his notes are not perfect, they are enough so that if he was forced into interaction he would have a good idea of who he would be able to trust and would not be able to trust. This also helps when he needs to decide his current hiding place isn't safe, on average he will change shop every couple months or so, leaving behind just enough things so he could fall back to the location if his new place failed. In his current situation he attempts to grow food on roofs and in buildings with holes in the side of them for some of it, the rest he needs to find or steal. For water, he must keep old water collectors maintained and clean at any given point, which considering he has them spread out for the best chance to have any takes up most of his time. Weapons: 1. A double barrel sawed off shotgun that has been noticeably taken apart and rebuilt a few times over. *Loaded with ammunition made from scrap, and inconsistent gunpowder *The stock seems like it has been added on after the old one was sawed off *The effective range is roughly... Point blank, maybe a few yards if the current load was made decent, though getting of scrap blasted into you from any range would suck. 2. A makeshift hatchet, mostly used as a tool to get around or into places he would normally not be able to get into. Equipment: -twine -wire and makeshift cutters -the collection of bits used to make the shotgun shells and the gunpowder needed for them. -A heavy jacket, arguably a tench coat -Gloves and hats (It's New York, if you don't have gloves and hats say bye bye to your ears and fingers) -Goggles Other: Where Hunter lacks in his ability to fight or work well under pressure, he is able to do a lot with the things he has learned from Dave and he has learned through experience.
