~Livia & Cynthia~
It didn't take long for Cynthia to return to the headmistress. She had mostly managed to regain her composure, but couldn't help but to still be somewhat red in the face. Curse that stupid ice woman for distracting her. At least she managed to finish her job and made sure to get someone on their side in Kostis' little party. Now she just had to report to the headmistress about it, as well as find where that rabbit ran off too. Normally she was watching the restricted section of the library but she had been strangely absent recently. Livia said she was off doing something for her. Some sort of information gathering off in the desert country or another. She walked into the headmistresses room, bowing and walking over to the tea set to make some tea. "Make Gwynn's job difficult? Oho? Well I most certainly can." Livia chuckled as she gave the doll a pat on the head as it finished writing. "Thank you dear." She said waving the doll off. "The blond is being troublesome again?" Cynthia asked, not sounding surprised. "More so than usual apparently," Livia chuckled. "But never mind that. What of my request? "I asked that...mongrel to look into things. She was easy enough to bribe, though I was surprised food did not entice her." "Eith? Well, I certainly believe she could be qualified. What did she ask for?" "A servant. I remembered you were looking to replace the Librarian for the Restricted Section." "Replace is a strong word...but," Livia hummed quietly as Cynthia brought over tea, placing it in front of her. "A good fit. She could use a bit of...experience out there. Eith will certainly be...an interesting introduction. I'll have to see if she's done studying that ruin in Egypt yet." Livia mused, taking a sip of tea. "Anything else interesting happen while you were out?" "No." Cynthia replied rather bluntly. "Truly? You seem rather flushed. Are you certain you are feeling well?" "I am fine, headmistress." "I know you are working hard, but even you do need to rest every now and then Cynthia." "I am the peak of health, Headmistress." She did not like where this conversation was going. She knew exactly what was about to happen and she couldn't help it. "Hmm...I suppose if you say you are fine." Livia replied. A small glimmer of hope appeared as Cynthia went back to the tea utensils as Livia took a rather long drink of one. She must be really tired today - she'd have to make more and make sure her cup was never empty. "Or perhaps you are embarrassed about something?" Cynthia dropped the kettle, the object clattering loudly as it fell a few inches onto the table. "Embarrassed? Please headmistress. You trained me better than to be flustered." "Oh sure, sure..." Livia replied with a smirk. "Although...I do recall your face always being that shade of red during more...private matters. You wouldn't happen to be seeing someone else would you?" Cynthia's face turned another shade of red, almost pouring too much tea into the cup as she lost focus of her duties for a moment. "H-headmistress, you are the only one who I will ever think about such things with." The maid replied. "Oh? Not even a certain...fiendish Popsicle?" Cynthia practically dropped the tray she was walking over to the table. This earned a sigh from the headmistress. "Getting a bit sloppy, are we Cynthia?" Livia stood up from her seat, walking over to where the maid had set down the tea set on a small table between some bookshelves. "M-mistress, I have no knowledge of that-eep!" Cynthia made a small yelp as turned to find Livia standing behind her. "Oho? Is that so, my little maid? Hmm...are you certain you don't need to be reminded of who you serve, hmm?" "M-mistress, now is most certainly not the time for such activities!" "Aww, not even a hug?" "...I suppose A hug is acceptable..." Cynthia quietly replied. Before the words had even left her mouth, Cynthia had found Livia's arms firmly wrapped around her...and her face planted right in the headmistress chest. "Mistress this is not what a hug is!" "Oh quit being stubborn~" She chuckled, hand resting on Cynthia's shoulder. "Come ooon, just a bit of fun? I'm bored and now that Fia's not here we can resume normal lunchtime activities!~" "I-It's barely past morning! It's not even lunchtime!" Despite her protests, she wasn't doing a very good job of keeping her usual calm exterior. Fia had walked in on quite the sight, it seemed.
