Night was falling, and already excited astronomers were able to see the coming meteor storm with their telescopes. It'd only be a few hours before night fell and the astral bodies would rain across space, and possibly even pay a visit to the planet itself. Tatsuya had spent her time in the city chowing down on various street foods for cheap, as well as gathering some information about what she could do or what to look for while she was here. One thing that certainly caught her interest was something called "The Battle Boat". Essentially, a large yacht that would set sail into the sea to get a pristine view of the meteor shower, even using specific pokemon to ensure no weather obstructions like cloud or fog. Compared to lying on the beach or sitting in a rocky boat among other boats, the yacht sounded like a much better option. Of course there was a catch: there was only limited spacing that cannot be brought, but only won from battle. There was a total of ten places, and only the top ten battlers would get those places. It sounded way too exclusive, but Tatsuya didn't question it too much. She would get a chance to battle and possibly even the best seats to watch tonight's meteor storm, so it was a win-win to her. She'd have to hurry though, as the competition was about to begin, and once it does there will be no more contestants. "Alright everyone, back inside! We got a boat to win!" Tatsuya called for her pokemon back into the pokeballs as she made a run for the beach front to join in the battle. Finding the place was easy enough: there was a huge area to the beach sectioned off for pokemon battles. There was a large crowd watching, and a only slightly smaller crowd who were going to take part in the battles. Tatsuya joined the line as soon as she could and applied for battle. She got a number, 57, and waited with bated breath for her turn to fight. The order of the competition was simple enough: A 80 trainers would battle, one against one. The first round should result in about 40 trainers remaining, and another one-on-one match will begin and should end with 20 trainers. The third and final round would have those 20 trainers pitted against one another, should end with 10 trainers. They would be the ones who get to go on the yacht. Soon after Tatsuya had gotten her number, she heard it called out. It was time to battle. "Yeah! Let's do this!" [@Lonewolf685][@KoL][@TheWindel]
