No they didn't, in Rebels Rex said "He can't see anything in that helmet." Which is a nod to Luke Skywalker saying the same thing in ANH. This can be explained by the fact that Rex isn't a Stormtrooper, and isn't used to the helmet. Please explain to the Rebels on Hoth, Tantine IV, Scarif, Endor or within any of the books or Comics how bad the Stormtroopers are at aiming.

Need to also remember that the main characters on Rebels are also severerly assisted by [i]plot[/i] in not getting shot.
