"No, it's not easy" Connor said softly, something akin to torment in his voice,,,he sighed. "Do you know that people look at me and think I must have the answers, how hard that is? I'm expected to be good, I'm expected to follow into the family business. I'm damn good at it. Kijani, People are not born heroes or villains... they are created by the people around them." He said wearily, "The decisions we make are bsed on what happens round us. Are we good or evil because those around us perceive us to be? Kijni...you'll never be nothing. You flew your paper plane fully, to save fellow students. You helped them get free. Not everyone could do that. I have my suit, and that was six months hard work to actually be able to use it effectively. You haven't been working on your plane that long. You'll never be nothing, Kijani. Your actions prove that you are something. You're right in the fact that perhaps there aren't any heroes or villians. But its not us that it matters to. Its people out there, who don't have the abilities to protect themselves, that it matters to. Perhaps in this day and age, its about gray areas. Look at some of our teachers. Even in their age, very few were considered to be heroes. There were more vigilanties then nything. Look at some of the villians-some of them, like Posion Ivy, did a good deed so immense, that they are remembered instead for that, then their other actions. Sometimes we might be heroes. Sometimes we might be villins. It doesn't matter, does it? At the end of the day...we have to know how to use our abilities, have to be able to fight if need be. Because right now, we are it. The school was hacked, our names are known. Right now, its survival" He shifted, gripping her hand slightly tighter at the tremble. "What matters Kijani is that...you become who you want to be, even if you have to hide it sometimes for duty sake" [@Mistress Dizzy]
