Viper could hear the sudden sound of rushing water underneath them but she didn't have time to react. She closed her eyes to brace for impact, closing her eyes and letting her muscles relax a little in order to not hurt herself. She felt herself lift into the air, her suit becoming drenched. "You mother*cker," she hissed at Hydrotic, sharp fangs bared. She attempted to grab at the villain while still in the air.
Trick groaned when he heard the pipes breaks and sputter water onto the road. He jumped out of the way, glancing around the cloud of smoke. He saw a child, separated from his mother, crying in the middle of the street. Quick to act, he flew over and scooped the child into his arms then up into the sky to avoid a gyser.
