First Off: They are NOT mere Cannon Fodder. They are trained Special Forces. Their Armor, equip with a special material that will be more deeply explained in the future, nullifies magic near them, and cast at them, as well makes them a void in magical detection. They wouldn't appear as living beings if magical detection was activated. If someone tried it, it would be like detecting vehicles, or other inanimate objects.
