Quickly closing his various books with little bookmarks or self-contained pens, he approached the front door and opened it to find that indeed there was a Lyssa and a somewhat disappointed looking Eith. Of course, he would never deny his services to a lady, but this girl was ... strange, at a minimum. She was also incredibly touchy, which of course wasn't bad but - "Hello, Lyssa. What can I do for you?" Unconsciously he had assumed a slightly defensive position as if he was preparing to be tackled. The kitten frowned slightly as she was called a lightweight. "Mistress, your little kitten likes sweet things. I could never comprehend how this was your choice of drink." Maoin considered buying something more for herself, but she figured that if her owner didn't want to drink it would be unfair of her to enjoy some wine. Of course the mention of a dragon, the kitten felt a little explanation was in order. "Mistress ... I don't think it's a fight you'd win. I got in a little ... scuffle with Lady Sorcha and her speed was simply incredible. It was hard to dodge and I simply think it couldn't be blocked ..." It was rather obvious the kitten was embarrassed by that whole ordeal she had gone through, especially since it had been caused by her disrespectful behavior towards one of her betters. The crimson haired girl pulled her head back from the pillow, looking at it with a face of dried tears. The headmistress deserved a response of course, and she needed to drink something to replenish all those tears. After reaching for the glass of tea, she sipped on it in an attempt to calm down. A few more tears came out, but after wiping them off the stream seemed finish. Once she had collected herself a bit more, she shot an accusatory look at Livia. "... you ... you aren't too ... helpful ... with them ..." It was incredibly irritating to know that this woman sitting next to her had all the answers, and yet she wasn't revealing any of them. She sipped on a bit more tea before realizing that was probably a mistake, at which point she stood up and took a few steps away from Livia, face expressing a degree of fear. This woman was incredibly generous so far, but she had the power to make things a lot worse. And it wasn't right to take her frustration out on her. "... I-I'm sor-sorry ..." She raised her hands and revealed her palms, trying to appear as small and non-threatening as possible. While perhaps she did owe Livia an apology, it would probably become apparent to the older woman that the girl hadn't eaten anything since morning and was likely tired after all that emotional stress.
