Yeah, Shimadrill isn't the best at drawing a face that feels alive. Although, the short hair was mainly since Saber Lancelot was supposedly him in his glory days (so when he was younger, while his appearance in F/Z with long hair was when he's near his fall).

Granted, he looks 100% better with long hair.
