Conures are lovely parrot babies!! Do be prepared for screaming. They will absolutely scream, and you will suffer hearing loss, and they will do it in your ear. The cookware you gotta be careful with is nonstick stuff, which is a bummer but what you have to do to ensure they live. 

Fresh fruit and veggies are a must too, for complete nutrition! Definitely speak to a vet about complete care requirements though, this is mostly me just repeating stuff my parrot keeping coworkers tell me.
