They appear to be young women of unnatural beauty. The protectors of all breeds of waterfowl, they make a habit of using their beauty to lure hunters away from their avian prey, even resorting to drowning if necessary. Despite this, Swan Maidens are typically a shy breed and, when humans stumble across them, usually finding them bathing by the banks of a river, they will flee, wrapping themselves in their feathered cloaks and changing into swans. When in bird form they are indistinguishable from true swans, but for their unnatural size. Black Swan Maidens are a rare mutation among the pure white Maidens. Less shy than their sisters, they relish being seen by mortals and are far more aggressive about protecting their charges. As a result of their differences Black Swan Maidens are typically ostracized by the other Swan Maidens and are usually alone, cast out from the flock. Swan Maidens have a mystical bond with their cloaks, without them they are powerless, and what's more If another should come into possession of a Swan Maiden's cloak she must be compelled to obey any order given by the one who holds it. Folk Tales are full of legends of men who managed to steal a Swan Maiden's feathered cloak and forced her to be his wife. These Legends, like many, are born from fact.
Appearance:

Relationships: N/A Extra: Like all Swan Maidens, Sylvi has a cloak of swan feathers, jet black, that she uses to change into her bird form. Sylvi also speaks in a heavy french accent, perhaps reflecting her place of origin.
