The Lutarites mixed with elves years ago, and their behavior and way of life is still elvish.  Like some live in trees and they'd do glade dances rather than barn dances.  I think their succession is absolute cognatic, since women are viewed well as the givers of life.  And there's currently a queen on the throne rather than a king.
