Yeah I was really gunning for that extremely young look. It's one of the reasons why he was good at stealing and one of the reasons why he was bullied in the first place.

And as for the motivation, well, he has some real sentimental attachment to the dog, which I plan to show in the IC. Taking care of it is his driving motivation but if you want me to change it, then I'll think of something else.
