Global Gag Rule, he's said that he likes torture and that it works, and banning tweeting for an entire section of the government. (Which is unconstitutional, hypocritical to the highest degree, and the act of a dictator since he did it because they were tweeting dissent against him.)
His stance on the torture thing isn't a screw up to me whether I agree with it or not. It's actually entirely constitutional. It's one thing to use personal Twitter to speak one's own mind, but that's effectively the same as using company resources to berate your boss. The government is supposed to work together, not be in civil war, and they were being inappropriate for the time and place.
That's great and all on paper, but that's not how it actually works. Not to mention that a wall is entirely useless, making it a huge waste of money, and this would hurt the average american's purchases since that'll raise the prices on everything coming from mexico, which is going to be sold here regardless and is going to be bought regardless.
Blocks cartels. We don't pay for it and it saves money. Companies have already started moving back into the U.S. It's how capitalism works; if Mexico prices get to high, we switch to something else. You assume they'll stay in Mexico; companies follow the money.
