Albert Prelati
Interacting with: Berserker ([@Grey]), Leon & Saber ([@vancexentan])
An internet cafe across the street from Ahnenerbe - 1:55 PM December 2nd, 2012

Albert wasn't sure what annoyed him more, Leon casually admitting they'd had no intention to even come to his meeting in the first place (then why even bother getting him to notice them then?) or Berserker already deciding that they'd form an alliance with absolutely no input on his part. Way to 'ave my back, ma chère..., he thought grouchily. Of course, it wasn't like they couldn't use the help. Even if he believed Berserker could win the Holy Grail War all by herself (which he did), it never hurt to have an extra set of hands working for you. Or an extra target on the battlefield to confuse the enemy. Albert sighed. "It is as you say. Assassin 'as been busy. Very, very busy. 'E is a man of great efficiency, I will give 'im zat if nozing else. 'Owever, 'is continued existence is an eyesore, so somezing must be done about 'im. Whatever kind of skill or Noble Phantasm 'e is using, it is powerful enough to dispatch Lancer, which I zought would not be possible for someone of 'is class. Zat means we'll all feel a lot safer once ze bastard is dead." Albert folded his hands. "You 'ave made it clear zat you 'arbor some doubts about me as an ally, and while you may be ze Master of Saber, I too 'ave my doubts about you. Zat includes both your trustworziness and 'ow useful you'd be in combat. It is nozing personal of course, I just prefer not to assume anyzing when it comes to a contest where I will be risking both my life and ze life of my Servant, as well as ze 'onor and prestige of my family. I would encourage you to do ze same, were you not already." Togami's words from the previous night came back to haunt Albert, stinging his pride. Yes. The honor and prestige of the Prelati family. He couldn't afford to tarnish it further. What little of it was left... "So zen," he said, trying to at least pretend this meeting was going well. "'Ere is what I propose. A trial partnership. Less of an alliance and more of a 'cooperative ceasefire', if you will. We will work togezer until Assassin is defeated. Zat will give us plenty of time to guage each ozer's skills and whezer or not we are comfortable working togezer as partners. And, if zere comes such a time zat eizer of us wishes to extend our alliance any furzer, we may meet at ze church on neutral grounds to discuss penning and signing a proper geas scroll wiz all ze rules and arrangements of our contract outlined on it." The young French boy twiddled his thumbs, preparing to give the final pitch. "Of course, we need not share all or any of our secrets and strategies while working togezer unless we decide a formal geas is in fact in order. I also expect you to take me wiz you to meet zis Jonazan, 'owever zat is not required if you wish to go alone. Do you agree to zese terms? Or shall I walk out of zis ratty cafe right now and we can both pretend zis never 'appened?"
