Personality: Katarina tries to live with a light heart, despite her tough upbringing. She doesn't trust supernatural humans easily, and nonsupernaturals not at all. Despite this, she is active in the Imaginary District community, particularly the Youth Organization.

Abilities: Katarina has several magical abilities. The most notable of these is hydrokinesis; she can manipulate a full bathtub's worth water with no problem, and with extreme concentration and psychic stress can manipulate a small pond.

She can transform her fins into legs at will, though she can do nothing about her gills. Therefore, when she travels outside the Imaginary District, she wears shirts with high collars.

She can transmute her own flesh into living water, in whole or in part. Not the most useful of abilities, but great at getting attention.

She also speaks fluent Fishese, but according to her finned friends, she has a thick tuna accent.

Skills: Apart from being a pretty decent cook, Katarina has no real mundane skills to speak of.

Bio: In case one couldn't tell from the name, Katarina grew up in Russia- Vladivostok, to be precise. Her first 14 years of life were pretty normal for merfolk trying to integrate themselves into human society. Unfortunately, someone found out their secret and set fire to their house. She made it out, but her parents did not.

With nowhere to go, Katarina dove into the sea, eager to just get away from humans. After several months, her wanderings led her to the Imaginary District's harbor. A place where supernaturals were protected? It sounded like heaven to her. She now lives in the harbor, but she spends a good portion of her time on dry land, particularly for Youth Organization meetings.
