For all the power being put into each and every blast not a single one served to halt Viral's progress. Though visibly he was sustaining damage the Beastman walked on as though nothing were striking him, his wounds seemingly healing as they appeared. In utter shock at the futility of his attacks the Elite simply stared at the Beastman when the gap was closed, gagging and gasping for breath when two powerful claws wrapped around his neck, lifting him from his feet and holding him like he were a child. Trying unsuccessfully to pry Viral's claws from his throat the Elite gasped as he was thrown away like a ragdoll into a light post, breaking it in half on impact and bouncing against the pavement harmlessly. Lungs burned and his eyes watered as he fought for breath, struggling to get off of the ground and back into the fight. His chances of doing so diminished when Viral was nearly upon him, poised to cut him into ribbons and end the battle then and there. Trying to raise an arm fast enough to at least blast Viral again and braced instead for the worst, eyes wide with fear. When a Ki blast then slammed into the Beastman and knocked him well off course the Elite blinked in confusion, astonished to see his partner sat up against a container along the road, barely conscious but preparing another Ki blast already.

"He can't be allowed to win! He's a monstrosity, a menace to everyone!" the Saiyan shouted, groaning as his chest ached in protest to the exertion, coughing up blood before spitting more out to the side, "I'll support you, don't give him an inch! We can kill him!" Viral was utterly insane if he thought they were going to fall here, and even crazier to believe he or anyone else could topple the Saiyan empire. Watching as Viral began to get back up again he grit his teeth, focusing Ki into his hand and firing off a rapid succession of blasts, just enough to keep the Beastman preoccupied. He may be much stronger now but he was still vulnerable, they only had to wear him down enough to deal a decisive blow. Constant barrages should keep him from recovering too much and he could prevent the Beastman from attacking back this way as well. "The Empire will never fall, Viral! You're fighting against the strongest force this world has ever known!" the Saiyan screamed over the blasts, "You'll join a long line of other failed attempts at bringing us down!"
