[sup]Interacting With: Syleste Vos ([@Vicier]), Gage Brooks ([@BlackPanther]), Cassandra Arvanitis ([@Caits]), Zoé Flores ([@Vicier]), and any others in the room.[/sup]

“Enough..!” Xerxes' attention was immediately ripped from the temperamental boy the moment that Zoé wheeled a bed into the room. About to sigh in relief, as he wouldn't have to disobey her request after all, he was cut off short by a deafening roar. Though he had experienced the call of an Alpha a few times before in his life, this was the first time it gave the Angel goosebumps. He knew he was staring, a sense of awe upon his usually crestfallen features that perhaps lifted a few years from his physique, but he couldn't help it. The call of the Alpha didn't affect him as it did most of the others in the room. Instead, it got his attention for entirely different reasons, though what they were he wasn't quite sure yet. Feeling his daughter brushing up against his side, his eyes tore away from Zoé to look down at her. More than anything, he wished he could at the very least put an arm around her, touch her shoulder, something that could physically tell her that things were going to be okay. But with Syleste kept so tightly in his arms, it wasn't something he could easily do and a pang of sadness ripped through his heart. "What the hell? What... that's not funny!" Her confusion and even slight climb to the defensive was more than understandable. But then she looked up at him, her large brown eyes practically begging for some sort of explanation as to what she had just seen and heard from Zoé. "What is going on?!" "Cassie... please..." Xerxes plead softly, shifting Syleste in his arms a bit to ensure that he had a tight hold on her. Had her eyes always been so big? So brown? So... puppyish? No... he knew his daughter better than the back of his hand. This was something new. There was a new sort of life in them, a new sort of soul. A muscle in his jaw clenched. So that was it then, she really was a Werewolf. His little girl - one he had protected his entire life, and raised on his own. Just a few hours ago, his biggest concerns had been her getting involved with boys and trying to help her figure out what college she wanted to attend. But now... "Cassie, I need you to listen to me - listen to Zoé..." He was only then acutely aware that most of the other eyes in the room were on him, if they weren't on Zoé. He lifted his head and scanned his dark brown eyes across the room, trying to meet anyone's eye that would look back at him. "All of you. Just... listen. She's going to explain everything."
