Alex was more than amused at the fact it was only the second day of school and his sister was already running late. Normally she was up early, took her morning run, showered, dressed and went to breakfast before classes, but it was obvious that none of that had happened this morning. He laughed as he headed out the door, heading towards Jo’s room. He still felt a bit weak after yesterday, but it wasn’t anything too much, by the end of the day he’d be back to normal. He noticed the traffic in the halls starting to pick up as he got to Jo’s door. He gave a smile to the girl who answered, not even confused at the name she called him at first. “Morning.” He greeted. He entered the room behind her, hearing her call him a hell pet. He didn’t pay any mind to it, and when Jo spoke to him he just chuckled. “It seems to be a theme this morning.” He said when she said she was running late. He watched as the plant grew for a moment before he looked down at her tugging at her tie. “Yeah.” He said, taking the ends from her and tying it for her. He made sure not to make it too tight, but he offered her a look at her next statement. “I’m sure I’ll enjoy it. May I ask who he is though?” he asked before sitting in her bed a moment, waiting for her to finish brushing her hair. He got up when she was finished getting ready and opened the door for her, and then he called back into her room before they left. “Nice meeting you!” He headed out, taking hold of Jo’s hand as they headed towards the Botany classroom and he adjusted his glasses. Well, now he remembered what he had forgotten to do yesterday, have the Arch Mage look at his glasses and see if the enchantment was wearing off. He could see colors still, just very dully, and it bugged him because sometimes it made text and other projects 100 times more difficult. “So, you have third period off, right? I have to talk to the Arch Mage about my glasses, the damn things aren’t helping me much right now, but after that I’m free. If you had anything you needed help with from your coexistence with humans class, I could help you out. I was going to check a few things out for a couple other classes, so I’ve got plenty of time to help.” He offered, waiting for her to enter the classroom before he walked in after her, hearing a few whispers as some giggling girls walked by. “Yeah, his hair was neon blue, and I don’t know what the hell his forehead said, but Jackie seemed to know. He got so pissed when she whispered it to him to.” Alex’s brow rose, but he just went into the class and took his seat beside Jo. -- Darren woke up the next morning to the sound of his door closing behind whoever left. Right, Jackie had stayed last night and they had made plans for tonight as well. He sat up and ran his fingers through his hair. He was glad he had taken first period off this year, but rather than going back to sleep, he got out of bed and headed into the bathroom for a shower. Once he got out of the shower, he sighed and started getting dressed, finding a note on his desk. He picked it up and read it, a small smile on his face as he put it in his top desk drawer and grabbed his wallet. He needed something to eat, that was for sure, and after tugging on his shoes he decided he’d come back for his tie and blazer. However, luck didn’t seem to be on his side as he walked out the door and nearly slammed into a girl with curly brunette hair tied up in a ponytail with blue eyes. He saw her eyes turn red and almost immediately slit over like a dragon as his eyes went over black. “Watch it, dragon bitch.” He hissed and he felt himself get pressed against his door, her forearm against his chest. The hall was pretty empty, so no one seemed to stop or anything. “I’ll give you a scar to match your back, Flint. Don’t fucking test me.” She hissed, pushing off of him hard as she picked up her bag and headed down the hall again. He shook his head and decided to purposely take the long way to the cafeteria. That bitch’s acid wasn’t anything to fuck with, especially since it could leave scars, even on those with accelerated healing. It was gross too. He sighed a bit and bounded the corner with just enough time to see Billie rushing out of her dorm, but glad she didn’t head his way. That bitch was fucking psycho too and it was obvious she was gunning for him already. Hopefully she would forget he was even at the school again soon too. Especially since he would have to worry about Scottson being back. That one had been the first he had outcasted when he was leader, and if it wasn’t for the fact that Alex hadn’t ever actually given him a reason, he’d have glad outcasted him. His mind actually wandered back to the night he knew it all was going to change. Even he knew he was in trouble the minute he met Billie Sanders. Darren sighed, looking around the room at the winter formal. News of a few new transfers coming in had hit the wire, and he looked to Justin who had brought him a drink as Maggie Martin, his current ex, glared at him as she walked past. However, his eyes watched her older sister who was wearing a short green dress and a pair of black heels. She was definitely hot, but Justin tapped his arm. “Dude, Randa will burn you alive.” He said, but Darren watched her for a few more minutes as she went over and stood with Alex, Garret, and Logan. He rolled his eyes a bit. Of course she’d be around them. “The ass around here is slim picking. Either came with dates or is old news.” Darren grumbled before Hank, one of the demons that had been there for a couple of years pointed out a girl who just walked in. “Never seen her before.” He said, and Darren allowed himself to look. She was in a short, strapless, red dress that flared out a bit at the bottom with a pair of heels that gave her legs some added appeal. She had tattoos on both biceps, and some on one forearm that he could see. Her hair was down and curled and her make up drew his attention to her eyes. She was hot, and Darren took Justin drink. “Watch this.” Darren said and he walked over and put his arm around the girl, waving the cup before her. She had stopped walking and looked at the cup before looking at his face. “Hey there beautiful, drink?” She took the drink from his hand before stepping out from under his arm and passing it to the nearest drunk person. “Do I have a sign on me somewhere that says you can touch me? I’m pretty sure I didn’t give you permission to.” Darren chuckled and nodded, “Alright, alright. I apologize. You’re feisty and I like that, why don’t you come meet my friends? It’ll be fun.” She gave a disgusted look before shaking her head. “Yeah, no thanks, just looking at you makes me feel like throwing up, so why don’t you be a good little boy and fuck off?” She turned to walk away and he grabbed her arm. Within a few seconds she had his arm turned up behind his back and she pushed him away, and he watched as her eyes turned over black. “Touch me again and I break your arm.” She said, allowing her eyes to return to normal before Alex came over and put his arm around her. “Well, you’re early little sis.” He said, steering her away from him and Darren just watched. That girl was strong, and a Sanders. He’d have to really watch the both now, especially with how open that rejection was. It was all too problematic, and his eyes found a blonde vampire nearby, and he walked over to her. “Jackie, how hard do you think it would be to make that group’s life worse than hell?” he asked her, handing her his drink as he motioned his head over to where Alex had just steered the new girl. The one he now knew was Alex’s sister. Darren shook the thought from his head, and he headed into the nearly empty cafeteria for his breakfast. -- Adrian felt the weight shift on the bed he was on, but he didn’t move at first. He rolled on his back, still partially asleep before a voice came. It was unexpectedly soft, but once he opened his eyes and saw Molly he gave himself a second before he sat up and nodded. “I didn’t realize it was already so late.” He said before he got out of bed, his words a bit mumbled as he grabbed his clothes and headed into her bathroom for a minute. He threw some water on his face and changed a bit quickly, so to keep his promise to her. He was still a little groggy, but he had slept rather well, which had been abnormal for a long time, and he just didn’t want to get out of bed. He looked at her after he grabbed his things and nodded. “I am. I’m guessing you are too?” he said, his voice still a little mumbled, but he cleared his throat as he went to her door. “Ladies first.” He opened the door for her and once she was out, he followed behind her. He yawned a bit, rubbing his neck a bit before he looked to her. “Sorry, it takes me a little bit to fully wake up.” He said to her, seeing she was in a seemingly good mood. He didn’t want to ruin it because he was a bit of a mumbler in the morning, especially since he just wasn’t a big morning person. He got used to his days starting at noon out of the school, so this was definitely an adjustment. When they got to the cafeteria, he placed his bag on the back of a chair. “What do you want? I’ll get it for you, considering you didn’t have to let me crash with you last night.” He said a bit, quietly, before his eyes scanned the room for where he was smelling coffee from. -- Clary watched as Logan scurried around the room, and she couldn’t help but sigh. She was trying to ask him to calm down, but it seemed that once Cole came in it helped. She sat on her bed, her hand pressed against her mouth as Logan took the first hit off the joint before he passed it to Cole who hit it before passing it back. “Trust me, man, it’ll help.” She said, and after he passed it back the second time Clary saw Cole just smirk. The two girls stayed quiet a moment as Logan held the joint, but Clary couldn’t contain it anymore and began laughing. Cole took the joint back and watched as Clary put Logan’s bag on his shoulder. “Well, Mr. Vampy Pants, we are walking with you to class so you can get situated.” She said and she watched as Clary put her arm around Logan, sliding a couple of vials of blood she had acquired last night in his bag for him. “Now, you’re probably going to feel a little buzzed for an hour or two, but trust me, when you come down you’ll feel loads better.” Cole opened the door, seeing Clary grab Logan’s keys off his desk and shove them in his bag too as they headed out. Cole fell in step beside Clary, a smile on her facd, and she listened a second as Clary asked. “Will he be okay after we leave him?” “Of course, Clary, it’s a mellower. Not quite medicine grade, but definitely what he needed.” Cole smiled before she walked over to Logan’s other side and patted his back. He should come down by gym. Hopefully, depends on how long it’s been since he’s been high.” Clary nodded a bit, and when they bounded the corner she saw Devin heading into the classroom behind Jackie before Clary noticed a brunette girl with curly hair tied up getting ready to head in. “Hey, um… I’ll be right back. Can you just make sure he’s alright for a second?” Clary asked and Cole nodded before waving to the girl who waved back. “I got him, go ahead.” Cole said, and she walked with Logan to the classroom. “Now, Mr. Vampy Pants, if you need to level put again, just come find me. I’ll help you out.” Cole poked her head in the door after he headed in and saw him sit down before she looked to Clary and saw her coming back over. “He’s in his seat.” “Good, thanks. Come on, let’s get to class.” Clary said and Cole nodded as they headed up the hallway to Harlow’s classroom. -- It was already starting off to be a day, the blue eyed dragon-vampire hybrid noted as she headed down the hall after almost literally bumping into Darren Flint. That fucker really needed to just disappear, Ezria thought as she bounded the corner, her eyes seeing the fleeting glance of some people she knew. Her hair was up, especially since she had a long night of unpacking and getting her things together. She had a small vial of blood tucked in her pocket, just in case, and as she began down the hall towards her first class, she saw Alex Sanders. She felt a small smile twinge at her lips before she saw him holding hands with a cute little red head. She had to remind herself that this wasn’t a couple of years ago, that Alex had moved on from her, but still… seeing it was harder than she anticipated. She waited a minute before she headed down the hall again, until he was in the classroom he was heading in with the red head, and she shook her head. Oh, she definitely would need the blood before long if her day kept going like this. She was so absorbed in her thoughts though, she barely realized someone said her name. “Ez!” the bright voice came, and it caused a small smile to come to her face as she looked up. She looked just past her too, and she saw Colette standing with Logan before Clary took all of her attention. “Hey Clar, nice to see you again.” She said, and she felt Clary hug her briefly before she looked at her. “What’s up?” Clary just laughed a bit. “Please tell me you have Bloodlust right now.” When Ez nodded, she saw instant relief come over Clary’s face. “Thank goodness. Can you do me a favor? Can you keep an eye on Logan? Cole gave him a little something to help him mellow out, and now he’s um… he’s feeling very good. I just don’t want someone to you know…” Clary looked down and Ez looked to see Cole poking her head into the classroom. “I got you, Clary. No one will ruin his good mood while I’m there.” She said, rubbing Clary’s shoulder. “Plus, this should be entertaining.” Clary smiled up at her and nodded before taking off, and Ez headed into the classroom before she slid in the seat beside Logan. She was almost curious as to which one Cole had given him, but she poked Logan’s shoulder. “Well, well, hello there stranger.” She said. She was still really distracted, her mind wanting to be every where else, but Ez knew so long as she was near Logan, everyone who knew better wouldn’t fuck with them. She hadn’t been leaders of the Dragon crowd for no reason after all. -- Billie sighed a bit from her place at the front of Harlow’s classroom as everyone began filing in. She was writing the symbols for the lesson on the board, watching as the assignments from the night before we’re placed at the corner of Harlow’s desk, like they usually were. Her focus was broken as a brunette girl with hazel eyes came over with her camera in hand. “First off, what the hell happened to you last night?” she asked, and Billie couldn’t help but to smirk. “Well, made the biggest mistake of my life thinking Justin would be worth a damn and then I was kinda tied up the rest of the night. Why?” she asked and when she saw the look she got, she laughed. “Not literally, Randa. I don’t let just anyone do that.” Randa laughed a bit. “Well, clear room for me tonight, babe. I need my B time.” She said, “Now, how much do you love me?” Billie gave Randa a smile before her eyes glanced at the camera. “The better question is, how much am I going to?” she said, and Randa just smiled. “Oh, a lot. So, I happened to be walking down the hall as bitchpire, and let’s call him sir ball less right now, were having a conversation. Oh, whoever did this is brilliant and deserves a special basket.” She said, and Billie felt Randa throw her arm around Billie and turned the camera to her. It was Devin with neon blue hair and Faelish on his forehead. Billie immediately started laughing, barely feeling Harlow peeking over their shoulders when he did. “Babe, get me a copy of that and I’ll love you forever.” Billie said, tears coming to her eyes she was laughing so hard. “And get me another couple copies too, I’m pretty sure I know who did it. Only one comes to mind who could, and I’ve got to ask how they did it because that is fucking beautiful.” Randa nodded. “So, for obviously making your day, I get my request for tonight?” she asked and Billie nodded. “Hell, tonight, tomorrow, whatever you need you have me. I just have detention tonight.” Billie said, watching Randa walk to her seat before Harlow came over and whispered. “Stick around for a minute after class, I’ll give you a note. You’ll enjoy it.” Harlow said and Billie nodded a bit before she went back to finishing up her stuff on the board. Oh, maybe her day wouldn’t be a total bust, but her mind wandered again to last night, the smile staying on her face as she thought about it. Her eyes fell to her pendant and noticed it was glowing a soft grey, and she tucked it into her shirt before anyone else saw it.
