He has the physique of god, with battle scars from hundreds of life-or-death struggles. Ice-blue eyes peer out from under his heavy brow, and thick, black hair hangs loose over his shoulders. Like any true man, he keeps a thick, dark beard, which contrasts with the bestial yellow of his fanged teeth. Fenris wears little in the way of clothing, mostly furs and leathers about his waist, heavy boots, and various charms carved from the teeth and bones of monsters he has slain.
PERSONALITY TRAITS
A born warrior, Fenrir lives to fight and to kill. A relic of another age, Fenrir fights for his personal honor and glory, and relishes in bloodshed. He believes firmly in the rule of might; he holds dominion over any man weaker than him, and will not answer to any he does not consider strong enough. When his more bestial side becomes dominant, his attitude becomes extreme enough that he believes that the weak are not fit to live if they cannot survive on their own. Not one to rest on his laurels, Fenrir constantly seeks new challenges and new opponents, finding that the glory of victory fades fast if not quickly regained. Apart from martial conquest, Fenrir's interests include feasting, drinking, whoring, and a variety of other wholesome pursuits.
BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION
Many hundreds of years ago, in a world of myth and heroes, Fenrir walked the earth. A warrior unlike any other, there were no men that could stand before him and survive. Refusing to bow to any king, he stalked the frozen north, seeking bloodshed wherever he could find it. Given both his physical power and the mystic beast-blood within him, only those who had mastered the secret fighting arts of the gods could hope to challenge him. Fenrir's final battle was against the armies of a mighty warrior-king, a legendary soldier and wizard. Fenrir slaughtered scores of men that day, both with his Jarlhammer and with his claws and fangs. Eventually he struck down the king himself, devoured his heart, and held his head high aloft for all of his armies to see. However, his pride had finally overwhelmed him as at that moment the king's son took his vengeance, plunging his sword into Fenrir's side. While this was not enough to kill him, due to the unnatural vitality his beast blood gave him, he was weakened enough so that he was thrown into the icy sea, never to be seen again. At least, not in that age. In modern times, a scientific expedition into the glacial fjords of Norway discovered something quite unusual. Ice melt brought on by global warming had revealed that which lurked deep inside one of the ancient glaciers. It was a massive wildman, with a sword stuck in his side. Eager to research what they thought was a mummy, the man was retrieved and thawed out, only to find that he was alive, and had been in suspended animation for at least a thousand years. Fenrir was revived and rehabilitated by Norway's government, hoping to uncover the secrets of his past. Fenrir was less than forthcoming, particularly given his distaste for the modern culture of Scandinavia, and escaped from the research facility he had been detained in. He now wanders this strange, new world, seeking new opponents by which he may again become the mightiest warrior of all.

FIGHTING STYLE & ABILITIES

FIGHTING STYLE
Fenrir is a close-combat monster, with strength, speed, and endurance that are all seemingly superhuman. His style is an overwhelming berserk blitz, with no thought given to his own defense to that he might utterly obliterate his opponent. Fenrir switches freely between his mighty two-handed Jarlhammer, and his bestial fangs and claws. Fenrir can switch freely between his human form (in which his endurance is highest), his wolf form (in which his speed is highest) and his wolfman form (in which is attack power is highest). Additionally, Fenrir has mystic power over ice and cold granted by the power in his beastblood, which augments many of his abilities.
SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES
■ [Thviti]
[Fenrir becomes as immovable as a mountain, protecting against attacks that disrupt his positioning or knock him down.]

■ [Gelgja]
[Fenrir conjures an aura of cold, slowing his opponents' movements. If they linger in his aura of cold for too long, they will be frozen in place and immobilized.]

■ [Gjöll]
[Fenrir howls mightily at his opponent, with enough sonic force to destroy a stone slab.]

■ [Svartálfar]
[Fenrir taps into the true power of his Jarlhammer, crafted by dwarves. For a short time, it cannot be resisted by even the mightiest armor.]

■ [Sköll]
[Fenrir's claws and fangs transform to mystic ice, turning any wounds they inflict black and necrotic.]

■ [Hati]
[Fenrir summons a great burst of icy mist, pushing opponents away from him.]

■ [Ván]
[Fenrir, imbued with inhuman vitality, gains a second wind, allowing him to continue fighting long past the limits of his mortal form.]

■ [Helhammar]
[Fenrir summons ice from the depths of the underworld, and cloaks his Jarlhammer with it. For a short time, this chthonic ice will sap the vitality of those he strikes.]

SUPER MOVES
■ [Fimbulvetr]
[Fenrir's mightiest ice technique. By summoning ice from the ends of the world, opponents in a wide area are frozen solid, completely immobilizing them, and allowing weak opponents to be shattered into pieces.]

■ [Ragnarök]
[Fenrir's ultimate technique. Taking on the form of the God Wolf, he becomes a gigantic, unstoppable killing machine. His mastery over ice is inverted to mastery over fire, and his bloodlust can only be sated by the death of his foe.]

WEAKNESSES & LIMITS
The primary weakness of Fenrir's fighting style is his lack of range. Nearly all of his techniques are close-range, and his ranged attacks are very limited and predictable. Given that he was born and trained in an age without guns, he is completely ineffective against long range attacks. His fighting style is also very reliant on overwhelming strength and complete offense; while it is difficult to outpace him given his unnatural vitality, his strength can be used against him with a skilled enough technique.

OTHER
[ hr]

Fenrir spæks wið a bit øf an äccent.
