"Then you'll go to hell where a monster like you belongs!" Sustained fire would prevent counterattacks even with his regeneration, even if right now he was grossly more powerful. If the King were here then even this monstrous form would be useless yet he wasn't and thus they would have to make due. Firing off an array of attacks the Saiyan did everything in his power to keep Viral at bay. In his exhausted, wounded state however his output of Ki was far from what it could be and the attacks though plentiful were largely ineffective. Seeing the massive build up of solar energy the Saiyan cursed and used what little remained of his Ki to fly from his spot, barely avoiding being vaporized along with an entire block of the city as Viral let his energy run wild. Falling out of the air as sustaining flight was proving difficult the Saiyan bounced along the pavement and groaned out in pain, fighting through it as he rolled onto his back and pushed himself into a sitting position. From here he was further off and could still see Viral, and he was able to see his partner moving in for an attack as well. Figuring Viral would not bother trying to evade his blasts again he charged up energy and threw it at Viral's front. 

While the Saiyan was busy running as a distraction he could now get in closer without fear of being attacked. Using the Ki attacks as cover the Elite jumped up behind Viral and swung his body around, applying Ki to his leg as before and delivering a hard kick to the side of his head. It moved Viral if only barely and with a curse the Elite dropped to the ground, shouting as Ki was focused to his arms and he instead began a flurry of punches into his side, hoping to cause some damage. Even after that surge however there was no apparent damage done much to his horror, Viral was standing tall and as imposing as ever. Staring in shock at the Beastman he hastily backed away to avoid a potential counterattack, spreading his arms out at his sides and firing off quills from his body in an attempt to hit vital spots, or joints, anything that might hinder Virals movements even slightly.
