Sabine stared back at Colours during his offer. She felt a little foolish about the pastry, though it was the small consideration in favour of Colours that was the more likely reason that she paused. She paused for a ponderous while. Finally, Sabine took a drink, smiled, and placed her hands on the table. "I am going to bed now, Colours. Thank you for the drinks and the company, and the help for tomorrow. And thank you for the offer." She gave a level and straightforward answer despite her heart beating fast at confronting him. "I do not want to mate with you. I am sorry." She was too intoxicated to see it as a bad or good idea at the time, but when Sabine stood up to leave, she gave Sees-No-Colours a quick chaste hug from behind. "Goodnight." She let go just as quickly and proceeded towards the rooms of the inn. She had to trace her hand across the walls to keep her balance.
