I accept this criticism (I'm not sure how to word this without it sounding sarcastic in my head... it's not sarcastic btw just in case I somehow made it seem sarcastic). I do think that I've made Alex into too much of a joke. He's meant to be entertaining, not an imbecile.

He doesn't have to be liked by everyone (I think it's literally impossible to create a universally adored character), but he does need to be a bit more savvy. I will wait one more post before doing the Alex response, regardless. Two post courtesy and all that :)
